Student Parking FAQ
  • Is student parking available for Fall 2023 and/or Spring 2024 and Summer 2023?

Spaces can be reserved only upon receipt of payment–first come first serve.
When spaces are sold out, a notice will be posted on the St Luke’s website.

  • How do I apply for parking?

For SEMESTER (Fall 2023) or (Spring 2024) or ACADEMIC YR or Summer 2023 parking, fill out the Parking Lease (click to download) and deliver it to St. Luke’s with your payment (cash or check only).  Checks payable to:  St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.

Because there are limited spots, we suggest that you contact our church administrator by emailing admin@stlukesboone.org  or calling during regular office hours Tuesday through Friday 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Spaces will be sold on a first come first serve basis.  Applications/payments will be processed in the order they arrive in our office.

  • Do I have an assigned parking spot?
    No
.  You may park in any of the spots marked “Permit Parking Only” and other designated students spots
(see PARKING DIAGRAM).Please DO NOT PARK in spaces reserved for “St. Luke’s Church Parking” or in the spots owned by “Crosspoint Community Church” in the lower lot just above Councill Street.

  • If I purchase a Fall ’23 permit,  can I purchase a permit for Spring ’24 later?
Yes, however, you are not automatically guaranteed a spot.  Semester permits for Spring ’24 will go on sale in late Nov-early Dec.  They will be sold on a first come first serve basis.

  • Can I park in the lot spot 24/7 ?

No. Parking hours are 4 pm Sunday through 11:59 pm Friday. Vehicles CANNOT BE LEFT IN THE LOT OVER THE WEEKEND.

Most students move their cars to campus for the weekend, as faculty/staff parking becomes available at 5 pm on Fridays.

*Exception — The 10 parking spots in the lower lot (along tree line, just above Councill Street).  Cars parked in these spots do not have to be moved for the weekend, because the spots are not typically used by church members.  These spots cannot be reserved/rented specifically.   The lower-lot spots become available/are taken as students come and go from the lot.

NOTE:  Most of the lower lot is owned by Crosspoint Community Church— DO NOT PARK IN THEIR SPACES. YOU MAY BE TOWED.

  • Can my friend/significant other/family member/acquaintance park in my spot?

No. The parking permit is only valid for the vehicle registered with us.

  • What about football game day parking?

Students may leave their cars in the lot on game days, but MUST MOVE THEM IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE GAME.
If it is a NIGHT GAME– CARS MUST BE MOVED BY MIDNIGHT the night of the game.
*There may be rare exceptions to this policy.  If the church is having a special event, such as a funeral, we may need you to remove your car on a game day.  You will be notified as early as possible (at least 24 hours in advance) via email should this situation arise.

  • I have a question that hasn’t been answered here, who should I contact?

Direct other questions or concerns to Church Office at admin@stlukesboone.org or call 828-264-8943.
